Louise Young Uhlenbrock "Nina" peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2026, at 98 years young. She was the daughter of the late Folk and Carrie Young. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Norma Brickhouse and her husband, Irving Uhlenbrock.
Louise lived a life of deep faith and found great joy serving the Lord. Louise is lovingly remembered by her daughter Deborah Carter and husband Michael, her son Samuel Uhlenbrock and wife Candy; her brother Samuel Young; her grandchildren Aimee and husband Wade, Trey and wife Vanessa, Ashlea and husband Eric, and Eric Uhlenbrock; 14 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA. Burial will immediately follow in Rosewood Memorial Park, then a reception will be held at the funeral home.
