To Lowell Kronick’ family, I met Lowell and Faye in 2001 when they moved to Virginia Beach. I was their Realtor and we became friends. Many Pesachs ago my family joined them at their house for a seder. We met Faye’s daughter who visited from NYC.
Jonathan and I are so sorry for your loss. May his memory be a blessing to you. He was a very kind and caring man.

Dear Kronick Family:

May God strengthen each of you during this difficult time. I learned a great deal from Rabbi Kronick. He was a great educator who always made time for a cerebral discussion about life in general, and helping others, specifically.  I will miss receiving enlightening and informative email messages from him.

Chaplain Kronick was a rare Chaplain in the leadership circle of Chaplains when I entered the VA ministry.  He was one of two of the leadership that clearly showed care for the ministry to Veterans, rather than what was blowing in the wind.
I am thankful for his leadership, his career, and his collegiality with me.  He will be greatly missed.

May his memory be a blessing.  He was a source of kindness and mentorship to so many.  His leadership was an inspiration.  He will be remembered by all as a mentsch.

The VA and our nation lost a great servant in losing Ch Lowell Kronick. He was so helpful to me in providing guidance and education during my CORE training. He provided great insight on how to best care for al our Veterans, especially our Jewish Veterans. I pray his family find peace and comfort in the LORD in this time of grief--Blessings.

My deepest condolences to the family of Chaplain (Rabbi) Lowell Kronick of blessed memory.  I am a proud beneficiary of his legacy of love, service and wisdom. As a newly appointed Chief Chaplain of James J. Peters VA MC, in the Bronx, NY in 2014, my task of establishing chaplaincy as an independent service at that facility could not be fully accomplished without his mentorship. Indeed, Lowell was the chaplains' Chaplain and one who exhibited to all who encountered him, the attributes of unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding and congruence. If Chaplain (Rabbi) Kronick had not been born, he would have been invented by the National Chaplaincy Services. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace. Goodbye Chaplain Kronick.  Thank you for your love for us Chaplains.  Thank you for pouring words of blessing and laying hands over us as we began our VA Chaplain journey.  You will be missed.

The world loses one of its most witty, wise persons and we, from the VA family, lose a steadfast colleague and friend.  Lowell never seemed to grow tired of our mutual work even as he struggled with his health; for his consistent presence over so many years, I am very grateful.   Warm greetings, and wishes for comfort in the days ahead, go out to his family.

My deepest condolence to Lowell's family. Lowell was beloved by so many, and he left a beautiful impression on many lives. I was grateful to have known him. He made the world a more peaceful place, and his absence will be deeply felt. May you be held in your grief, and may the memories shared with Lowell bring comfort in the night. Peace.

A consummate humanitarian and deeply revered chaplain mentor.  He and I shared a love for Israel and humored each other many times over the years.  A great source of wisdom and insight whose legacy lives in the lives of those he mentored.  A real blessing to have known him.  \
