Lula Bryant Tabor

Lula Mae Bryant Tabor, 93, of Norfolk, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 5th at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM and graveside at Rosewood with Pastor Kenny Bryant of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk officiating. She was born in Plymouth, North Carolina.

She retired from the City of Norfolk in 1989 as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Finance and has always enjoyed her flowers and vegetable gardens. She is predeceased in death by her husband, John Dennis Tabor, and her son, Dennis Bryant Tabor. She is survived by her daughter, Drucilla Tabor Haynes (Keith); four grandchildren, Robert Dennis Tabor (Annie), Elizabeth Tabor Kaminski (John), Dria Karmelle Thornhill and Adriane Rinehart; seven great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Dunstan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom loved spending time with her family and friends and her beautiful flowers. She was a founding member of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk and was very active in church Activities. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tabernacle Church of Norfolk.
