Virginia Beach – Madelyn Frances Vanacore, 70, passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2010 with her family at her side. She retired from Sears after 25 years of service.Madelyn is survived by her loving husband, Louis of 48 years; her two sons, Keith Vanacore and Brian Vanacore and fiancé Kristan Rowley; daughter-in-law, Lori Cashara; three grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, and Hope Vanacore; her sisters, Florence Snyder of Virginia Beach, Mary Waterous of New York, Teri Wacikowski and husband Gary of Virginia Beach; her brother Ralph Tripicco and wife Jenny of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Luke Policicchio.
