Martha Orem

Beloved wife of the late Ira J. Orem Jr.; dearest mother of Kirk Douglas (Anna Maria), Nancy Jean (Bill) Toro, Michael Eric (Karen), Debra Lynn (Michael) Campbell, Paula Ann (Terry) Shiver, Jack Kevin (Kathy), David Lawrence (Michelle), & the late Patrick Ira; nana of 25; great-grandmother of 7; sister of Charles, Joe, Anna, John, & Rosemary. Predeceased by 2 siblings in her childhood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 3, 2pm at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 North Witchduck Rd. Virginia Beach, Virginia. After the services, the familiy invites everyone to join them at Terry & Paula's home in Toana for a gathering. Donations to be made to the Alzheimers Association in Martha's name.

Martha was a devoted wife, mother, nana,and sister to her entire family. She was kind, patient, sincere, and loving to everyone and anyone that crossed her path throughout life. A great teacher of life lessons and cooking both italian and southern foods. These were a few of her many passions in life. Martha was fondly referred to as "His Bride" by her late husband Ira. She truly was an amazing mother and her family meant the world to her!!!!
