Mrs. Teets was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late James and Gladys Carpenter and was preceded in death by her husband Clinton M. Teets and a son James M. Teets. She was a member of Kempsville Golf Club and was an avid golfer. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and boating and hanging with her ladies group at the Black Pelican.
Survivors include a daughter Linda G. Stewart and a son Robert C. Teets and his wife Debra J. six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home and graveside services follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
The family would like to acknowledge the loving care provided by Joan, Manuela, Linda and Robin and visiting hospice nurses.
