Mary Ann Desimone

Mary Ann Desimone, aged 79, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA. Born on January 30, 1947, in Schenectady, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Carl and Cettina Costanza.

Mary Ann spent her professional life as a dedicated bookkeeper for Desimone's Auto Repair, Inc., where she worked alongside her family with commitment and care. Her meticulous nature and strong work ethic were evident in all she undertook.

A passionate reader, Mary Ann found great joy in immersing herself in the novels of Danielle Steel. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, who were the center of her world and the source of her greatest happiness.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Cettina Costanza; sister, Carla Doucette; and her niece, Stephanie Doucette. She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Joe Desimone, Jr.; two loving children, Joseph C. Desimone and Jennifer C. Desimone; sister, Angie Obey; and her brother, Salvatore Costanza. Her family and friends will deeply miss her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
