Mary W. Pyatt, 86, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2017. She was born on September 9, 1930 to the late Arden S. and Betty B. Warren in Chocowinity, North Carolina. Her husband of 30 years Charles E. Pyatt; two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons Robert C. Pyatt Sr., Jeffery S. Pyatt and Paul I. Pyatt (Nancy); her daughters Linda P. Broome (William), Betsy P. Norton (Daniel), and Julianna Pyatt; sisters Melba Holbert and Linda Wise; 13 grandchildren, Christina Zubowicz , Elizabeth Merrick, Rebecca Farmer, Jessica Martin, Charles Pyatt, Jenny Chapman, Lindsay Pyatt, Robert Pyatt Jr., Kathleen Frame, John Norton, Katie Pyatt, Matthew Pyatt, and Robert Wilson; and 7 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach VA 23462. The family will receive guest one hour prior.
