Uncle George and family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was so special to me. She was my Godmother and namesake and that always made me feel very close to her. I know she was always the person I could go to for advice when I would have a disagreement with my Mother. I would always feel better and I would know how to handle the situation. She taught me how to make fried rice! I appreciated that so much. When you two came to Charleston to visit and stayed at my house we had such a nice time together.You two have always been like second parents to me. You have always been much closer than an aunt and uncle. We may not see or talk very often but the bond has always been there.  I thank both of you ,for always being there for us. I am so glad that she was able to meet my husband ,Louis. You two have  always looked after my mother. She always has looked up to both of you.Aunt Matilde was Mom's sister and her best friend. Mom will miss her so much . Aunt Matilde(which is what I always called her) will never be forgotten and she leaves us with many happy memories. I will miss her very much but I know she will always be with us in spirit. I am so glad I was able to bring Mom to her birthday party and we have pictures of all of the family together. I love you all very much.

Dear Uncle George, Gail, and cousins,
Our hearts ache with the loss of your dear Mama and Wife. These are roles she took very seriously and she enjoyed and deserved the dedication her family gave her.
She was the best possible Sister to my Mama, Cora. She tracted my Mama and our family down through the Red Cross, when she had not heard from my Mama in a while. In fact she was the only family we knew growing up. My Mama is devastated! She will miss her weekly conversations on the phone. Aunt Tilde always had a certain insight on matters and she always made you smile. She is a beautiful person and we have gained so much by her spirit. Her loss is more than I can say.

I have lived across the street from Margie for over 10 years. I will miss seeing her in the garden and the comfort that she sent to my mother. God Bless you all!
