Maureen Amelia Voltz

She was a devoted wife, mother and sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She grew up in Orange, New Jersey and helped raise her siblings. She joined the Marine Corps in 1958, where she met the love of her life and celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary last May.

Maureen loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved camping, bowling and dancing. She was a CCD Teacher at Little Creek Chapel for many years. She volunteered for Meals On Wheels for thirty-five years and got her family involved in volunteering for them.

Maureen is survived by her husband Richard Alvin Voltz; five children, Keith Voltz, Kirk Voltz and wife Denise, Laurie Galdo and husband Mark, Ginny Voltz and husband Tom, and Suree Voltz; five grandchildren Kirk Voltz, Jr., Cory Galdo, Tristan Galdo-Walker, Dustin Voltz and Kyle Grimsley; six great grandchildren Alexandra, Isabelle, Raelynn, Braydon, Jameson and Maddox. She called her great grandchildren "Little Munchkins".

Maureen's warmth and kindness and unwavering dedication to her family will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 17, 10:00 a.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park.
