Merritt Keith Miller, 90, passed away in Virginia Beach on Friday, December 11, 2020. Merritt was born in Centerville, Michigan to the late Ora and Mattie Miller. He is predeceased by his wife, Evelyn; son, Robert R. Rooks, Jr. and his siblings, Francis, Gerald and Ralph Miller, Ruby Fry and Mary Olinghouse. Merritt was a US Navy veteran, he was a member of the Avalon Church of Christ and Masonic Order, Doric Lodge #44. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Eaton; son, Mark Miller, and daughters, Pamela Miller and Janice Rooks Jones (Edward); five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Rosewood Memorial Park. US Navy will be rendering honors as well. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
