I only had the opportunity of meeting my grandmother a few times, but by far, my favorite memories of her are from when she came to visit us in California. I was around 13 years old and, before this, I had grown up just hearing her voice on phone calls once every couple weeks. I can't believe how much time has passed from them until now. It feels like a few days ago, but I feel blessed to have been able to know her and then meet her. I may not have always known what to say over the phone as a child, but it was clear to me that we were very important to her. I was sad to hear about her passing, but I'm thankful for the notion that I will see her again.

She was my Mother-in-law, my husband Mom, my children Grandma, and a Great Grandma to my grandchildren.  She loved me unconditionally even when I probably was unlovable. What I saw on her got my attention.  She was always serving, loving and helping others.  She was to me a friend, a teacher, a and often was like a mom when I needed help.  Christ likeness is what I see. She loved God and us very much. What an Amazing Heritage. She will be missed in a great way even when long gone. We know the part of her will be always with us. This reminds me of Her, ...He is my Fortress. He's my Father, my freedom, my Master, my forgiven, and Friend. For when He died in Calvary He won my victory, and now in Him I'll lived eternally. I will love Him, trust Him and serve Him. The One who first love me....   How happy you might be now in His presence.

I've only ever had one grandma (and a step grandma I met once), my dad's mom, Migdalia Rodriguez, and she lived across the country from me - but that did not stop her from being a part of my brother's and my life. She was a part of every major event flying all the way to California from D.C. While my brother and I were younger, we talked consistently with grandma over the phone, and she would surprise us sending us fun and random gifts throughout the years. She always sent a birthday card and most importantly, she knew Who Jesus is, placed her trust in Him, and loved to hear about how her grandkids were serving Him. My grandma did all she could to love my family and me. I'm thankful for the times we had together, and I'm thankful she is happy today, full of joy in the presence of Jesus. What more  beautiful time than Thanksgiving and Christmas to know a woman who loved our Creator gets to see Him and some day if we have trusted Him as our Savior, we too shall be with Him for eternity. Today grandma is at peace and rest and is so blessed. May I learn from her life of love and sacrifice and choose those beautiful character traits of my grandma who gave all she had for her God, her sons, and her grandchildren. What a beautiful woman both inside and out that God blessed this earth with for 89 years!

I will remember you always. We did have good times and I only wished  we could have build more memories to share with your grand kids 
and great grand children. I know you're in a better place now, give Alex a big kiss from both of us.

I will miss my mother: I will remember the times we shared and the memories will remain with me until the time comes for me to be no more.  It is a sad moment but a happy one as well, as she passed, she was able to share and help others as she also got help from friends and family.   I know she is in a better place now, she knew God and shared with others openly with her belief in Christ, Glory to God in the highest.    My love to you Angelo
