Nancy Eileen Richardson

Nancy Eileen Richardson (nee Petty), age 82, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Nancy was born December 20, 1940, in Casa Grande, Arizona to Lee and Helen Petty. Nancy was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully journeyed to eternal rest. Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 64 years, Reese Richardson, are her brother, Ronald Petty, and his wife, Marjan of Seattle, WA., sons David Richardson of Greensboro, N.C., Kevin Richardson of Norfolk, VA., daughters Cheryl Hart and her husband Clint Hart of Athens, TX., Melissa Miller, and husband Jonathan Miller of Navarre, FL., grandchildren Kristina Peele, Dennis Economos, Aram Kambourian, Luke Miller and Elijah Miller, as well as nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends scattered across the globe. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Helen Petty of Phoenix, Arizona, her oldest brother Clifford Petty of San Diego, California, her brother-in-law Buff Richardson of San Francisco, California, and her sister-in-law Janice McDonald of Oakland, California. Nancy was a loving and devoted matriarch to her large family. Her faithful presence will be missed by all. A memorial service with reception to follow for Nancy will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
