Nanette was born in Buffalo New York. She loved to dance and create Art. Her Dance Troupe featured her with Frankie Valli (of the Four Seasons) for a local promotion. As her interests grew, she became a local Artist in Buffalo N.Y. and had a story written in the newspaper about her “work” when she was just a teenager. Her love of Art led her to college where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. When Nanette moved to Virginia Beach she was already published for her cross stich designs. She started teaching Art for the Virginia Beach City Public Schools in the 1990s. Her last position before retirement was at Princess Anne Middle School. She loved teaching the children and they adored her. Her work has appeared in many shows affiliated with the school system.
Nan was a prolific artist and had her own online shop where she sold her creations (Mommylion Designs). She had a huge heart… and loved. When Nan married she had a child, her greatest creation! Her family and friends will miss her so much. She is now at peace with The Lord Jesus Christ.
