A native of the Philippines Noemi resided in Virginia Beach for many years. She was a production associate for Morphix Technologies. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonides V. Suyat and Quirino Suyat.
Noemi loved nature and the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and traveling. Her gratitude and kindness will be remembered by all who have known her.
Survivors include her husband Armando I. Layo and daughter Aimee S. Layo; sister Ligaya Acosta and her husband Angel, their children, Angeli A. King, Alvin Francis, Alexander Brian, and Archibald; sister Jocelyn Suyat and son Patrick John Directo; brother Arnold Suyat and his wife Araceli, their children, Artaxes, Alexis, and Amethyst; and a sister Wilhel Suyat and her children, Derrick and Trisha.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 12 Noon at Rosewood Memorial Park.
