Patricia Ann Colbert, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 14, 1948, in Norfolk, Virginia, Patricia lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and devotion to her family. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and ability to make anyone feel welcome.
Patricia’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to support and encourage them. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of her favorite recipes.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clyde Colbert, son William Colbert (Sheri), Tammy Wiseman (Joe), Gloria Smithson Sebring (Bill) and grandchildren, Joy Miller, William Colbert, Eva Cole, Isaac Wiseman, Riley Wiseman and great grandchild, Noah Miller. Siblings, Nicholas Chappell (Pam), Michael Chappell (Janet), Carol Chappell, late William Chappell (Lisa) and David Chappell (Slay). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Gloria Chappell.
