Peggy was born in England, the daughter of the late James and Hilda Howells. She came to America in 1950 as a war bride and retired from the City of Virginia Beach Public School System. She was a former member of the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association and enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Anthony Price and wife, Linda of Juneau, AK; Barry Price of Windsor, VA; Jonathan Price of Virginia Beach, VA; and her two daughters, Jewel Berg and husband, Ron of Virginia Beach, VA; Rhona Hollingsworth of Chesapeake, VA; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 23, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of Serenity Mausoleum in Rosewood Memorial Park.
