Pelsina was a devoted woman whose life was a testament to faith, love, kindness, and resilience. She possessed a generous heart, an infectious smile, and a joyful spirit. She welcomed everyone with warmth, gave selflessly, and remained steadfast in her faith through every season of life.
Born and raised in Pohnpei, she was proud of her island heritage and carried its strength, culture, and love wherever she went. She cherished her family above all else and found her greatest joy in being a mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. Her wisdom, unwavering compassion, and unconditional love leave a legacy that will live on through all who knew and loved her.
Pelsina is lovingly survived by her husband, Samuel Rivera-Diaz; her five children, Albertson, Richard, Gilbert, Tonya (spouse: Michael Childers), and Marcela; her six beloved grandchildren, Nicholas Kainoa, Michael Lavallette, Raine Nalani, Levi Keanu, Keelan Kanekawaiola, and Ki’ani Sienna; her cherished siblings; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her love, faith, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain forever rooted in our hearts.
A Private Family Service will be held.
