Phyllis C. Shifflett, 56, passed away January 27, 2017. She was born on February 14, 1960 in Norfolk, VA to the late Roy and June Carley. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, VA, a graduate of Brubaker Academy, and worked at Lifetouch Studios for the past 33 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 36 years, George A. Shifflett; son, Michael Shifflett (Kathryn); daughter, Carley Shifflett; grandchildren, Brayden Michael and Carson Allen; step-grandchildren, Alexandra and Brody; sister, Sharon C. Holt; niece, Holly Tuten (Glenn); great-niece, Amanda Leigh; great-great-nephew, William Blake; and several loving cousins and beloved friends.
Phyllis' favorite past times were spent watching old movies, reading, enjoying long days at the beach, and cherishing her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
