A spectacular rainbow lit the evening sky as Reba L. McPeek, 84, passed peacefully away with her daughter at her side on Thursday, Oct.13th. Reba’s life was like that rainbow; she brought a smile to so many people’s faces. For all who were fortunate to have known her and her zest for living, she will live on in their hearts and memories.
She was preceded in death by Mac, her husband of 40 years. Left to cherish her memories is her daughter Cynthia and her husband Jim Smith of Va. Beach and the joys of her life, grandsons, Thane Smith and special friend Sarah Vaughan of Va. Beach; Ryan Smith and wife Shea and their two children, Reba’s precious great-grandchildren, Ellie and Ronan, all of Alabama.
At Reba’s request, there will be no services. The family will gather at a future date for a Circle of Life Celebration and will welcome her family and friends to reminiscence and share their fond memories of her. In lieu of flowers or donations, please send a card with a fond memory of Reba to her family to share when they meet to celebrate her life.
The family would like to extend a “Thank You” to the physicians and their supportive staff at Sentara Princess Anne and the Va. Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
