I worked with Robert at the Shipyard, he was one of the most easygoing and kind person I had the pleasure of working with. Always soft spoken. Took a lot to ruffle him. May God Bless all of the family and you are in my prayers. I am sure he will be missed by all. Jim Stanley

I have such good memories of your Dad from our reunions and from our visits to Virginia when we were growing up. He was such a kind and giving person. What a full life he enjoyed. Dear Scott,
My heart aches for you and your family. Your dad was a great friend and I will always cherish the memories of skiing with him over the years.
Both him and your mom gave us an added layer of comfort when we used to put our kids in ski school at Snowshoe. As a result of knowing Bob, I have made many friends at Snowshoe. My brother and I , skied with him a year ago February. While he wasted no time getting from top to bottom, he still seemed to be working to perfect his s-turns. Bob was a great skier, and
was very dedicated to his volunteer work with the adaptive skiing program.
He’s an inspiration!
God bless y’all.
Love, Tony and Terri

Dear Family of Bob:
Bob was our across-the-street neighbor at West Neck. We talked every time we saw each other outdoors. He was an absolute gentleman in every respect. We would talk about our recent travels, the weather and every thing else that came to our minds. It was a genuine pleasure in knowing Bob (I miss him already), and he was a great neighbor. I was extremely sorry to learn of his passing.
All the best to the entire family.
