Robert Alan Mallard, age 87, of Virginia Beach died February 21, 2025. Robert, better known as Bob, was born in Albany Georgia to Ann (Hobby) and Wade Mallard. After graduating from Lipscomb University, he married Barbara Summerville Mallard. They were married for 64 years. Bob retired in 1989 a Lt. Colonel from the United States Marine Corp. He was a faithful Christian and member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his brother Jack Mallard and wife Caroline Mallard of Florida. Service will be Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Chapel Mausoleum, 6329 East Virginia Beach Boulevard, Virginia Beach.
