Robert Patterson, 74, passed away peacefully in his home after a courageous battle with cancer on April 22, 2014. He was born in Tewksbury, MA and been in Virginia Beach since 1969. He was a retired supervisor of the Transportation Department of the Norfolk Naval Base.
Robert is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Bobby (Kathy); daughter, Shelly Larimer of Roxborough, NC; step-daughter, Lisa Shifflett (Billy); step-son, Allen Midgette (Sandy); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Massachusetts.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8pm at Kellum Funeral Home.
