Samuel Edward Brumfield

Samuel Edward Brumfield, 76, passed away on November 24, 2018. Mr. Brumfield was born in Bristol, VA on December 24, 1942. He graduated from Eddison Tech which at the time was an all male school Rochester New York. He lived in Rochester and later moved to Syracuse and worked at Bristol Labs for over 10 years. He met his wife in Syracuse and they had two kids Derek Brumfield and Samuel Brumfield II. They moved to Virginia Beach in 1986. Mr. Brumfield worked for Pepsi for more than a decade and retired from there. He then went to work at Modern Environments. A wonderful devoted great husband father uncle and brother to his family. He loved life and always believed in having a good time. He always had the right suit for the right occasion. He leaves behind three sons, Derek Brumfield, Samuel Brumfield and Samuel Hawkins. A daughter, Paula Simone Brumfield. Siblings, James Brumfield Fredrick (Loretta) Brumfield Steve (Pat) Brumfield Carol Harris Curtis (Star) Brumfield Mildred and George Easton Maryann Brumfield. A host of nieces and nephews and grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was married for 45 years until his wife passed in 2011. He was a master barber. He had his own barber shop and business.
