Shirley B. Walton, 77, passed away August 28, 2016. She was born in Emporia, VA. Shirley is survived by her husband Wallace E. Floyd, daughters Leslie Wood and Lisa Walsh, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A family viewing will be held Wednesday, August 31, at 1:00 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home Va Beach, VA. A memorial service will be private at a later date. A special thank you goes to Kindred at Home hospice and the Mercado family Senior Care home for their love, attendance and special care shown to Shirley and her family during a most difficult time. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Chesapeake Animal Shelter or a local shelter of your choice to celebrate Shirley’s absolute devotion to animals.
