Virginia Beach – Our precious Father, Stanley White Bonney, 81, passed away peacefully March 10, 2010. He was born in Norfolk to the late Herbert Bonney and Atla Canter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Bonney. Mr. Bonney proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He also coached a girl’s softball team, The Thalia Eagles, for many years.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Karen Bonney of Alvin, TX, Julie Crockett (Daryl) of Hampton, and Brenda Brown; grandchildren, Meghan Anspach, Ryan Anspach, Clay Bonney of Alvin, TX, Colleen Price (George) of Staunton, VA and Cathy Price of Stuart’s Draft, VA; 5 great-grandchildren; his cousin, Randolph Malbon and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, March 15 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
