

Stuart Erwin Bossom died on March 3, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born April 5, 1935. He was the son of Rose Greenhood and Bentley Bossom and beloved brother of Henry, deceased. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland where he grew up.
He was married to Shelba Sutherland Bossom. He was the loving father of Wendy Beth Blum (Jeffrey) and grandfather of Seth Logan Blum and Jeremy Ross Blum.
After high school he entered the Army and served in the Signal Corps. Upon an honorable discharge, he attended the University of Maryland where he received his law degree. After graduation, he served as Council on the Legal and Monetary Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives investigating organized crime. From there he went on to become the Director of Administrative Services for the Board of Veteran Affairs where he served for twenty-five years. After retirement, he and his love, Shelba, enjoyed traveling around the world. In his final years, he enjoyed calling Westminster Canterbury on the Bay his home and gained many loving friends.
There will be a memorial service, Thursday, March 7th at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Westminster Canterbury with a reception to follow. Burial will be private. Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
