Terry Lee Hammitt

Terry Lee Hammitt, 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Virginia Beach on Monday. Terry was born in Norfolk, VA to Ralph Hammitt, Jr. and Thelma Kight Hammitt. He was predeceased by his brothers, James and Herbert Hammitt. Terry was a mechanic with Andy’s Wholesale and he worked for various Tread Quarter locations in Hampton Roads. He loved playing video games, especially all of the Zelda games in particular. He loved spending time with his family and he will be missed by all. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Kight Hammitt; son, Keith O’Neil; siblings, Enoch Hammitt, Susan Hammitt, Elizabeth Phillips, Blanche Wheat and Smokey the Cat.
