

A Virginia Beach native, Mr. Maynard was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He retired as an International Union Representative for IBEW.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-three years Lynne S. Maynard; three children Lisa Morris and spouse Donald K. Morris II, Tina Raymond and fiancé Otis Ricks, and Brian Maynard and spouse Ester Maynard; grandchildren; Christopher A. Mahoney, Joshua A. Mahoney and fiancé EmiLee E. Unch, Justine Castiglioni and spouse John Castiglioni, Donald K. Morris III, Christopher G. Morris, Brittany L. Raymond, Ryanne N. Raymond and fiancé Novel Harvey, Mark A. Raymond, Korbin T. Raymond (in his grandfather’s arms); four great grandchildren; Connor G. Raymond, Briannah L. Henry-Raymond, Jahsiah A. Harvey, Sadie A. Mahoney; two son-in-law’s Mark Raymond and Jim Mahoney, two brothers Bill Maynard and Billy Maynard and one sister Bobbie Brydson. We would also like to include our extended family; Lori and Chris Ilmer, Mary P., Pam G., Jimmy and Candi E., Linda M., April and Devon O.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 28, 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 4873 Bonney Road in Virginia Beach.
Interment with military honors will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Norfolk, VA.
