Virginia M. Gibbs

Virginia Beach – Virginia M. Gibbs, 95, passed away on June 13, 2013. She was a native of Chattanooga and Oak Ridge, TN, a long-time resident of Long Island, NY and a resident of Virginia Beach for the last 15 years. Mrs. Gibbs is predeceased by her husband, James Paul Gibbs. She is survived by her sons, John Paul Gibbs and his wife, Georgia, and James Martin Gibbs; daughters, Linda Lee Gibbs, Mary Donna Schindler and husband John Farran, and Shirley Westhoff and husband Walter; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Agnes Hayes and Barbara Napoleon; and sister-in-law, Virginia Morgan. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
