He was the son of the late John A. Mote, Jr., and Alice Hunter Griffin. He retired with 39 years of service from Avaya Communications as a Site Manager and continued in the same capacity an additional seven years as a contractor through Volt.
Left to cherish his memory is: his wife, of 48 years, Judith H. Mote; two daughters, Angela Ilac and Valerie Pyron; two grandchildren, William “Buddy” Ilac and Amanda Lynn Pyron.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 pm, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with Pastor Fran Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Sentara Health Care and Hospice services for their compassionate care of our loved one.
