SUFFOLK - Bill Wyatt , 87, passed away January 8, 2017. He was born in Ames, Iowa on July 22, 1929. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Mildred Wyatt. Bill retired from the Navy after 20 years and was also retired from the Postal Service after a 20 year career as a letter carrier in Virginia Beach. He was active and well loved by his community at Lake Prince and enjoyed many activities.
His niece, Karolyn Wyatt Olliffe and granddaughter, Tracy Staton, were lucky enough to be very involved in his life and enjoyed many visits. In addition, he also leaves behind a loving large extended family, many dear friends and animals.
A private service will be held at a later date at Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. Donations in his honor can be made to the Lake Prince Benevolent Fund.
