Virginia Beach - Bill Monette, 73, passed away on September 18, 2014 from complications following a medical procedure. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lynne; 4 children, Michele Monette, Allen Monette, Gary Jones, Michael Monette (Erin); 10 grandchildren, Callie, Madeline (Alex), A.J., Quinn, Emily, Callan, Maeve, Mitchell, Natalie and Finlay. He is also survived by his sister, Vicki Osborn; 3 nieces, Anna, Maggie, and Lisa; a nephew, Greg; and a grand-nephew, Buddy; and many friends.
He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, where he served as a vestryman, senior warden, and choir member.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, Sept. 21st at St. Peter's, 224 S. Military Hwy. in Norfolk.
