Zelma Irene Byrd went to be with the Lord April 22, 2015. Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. V.E. Byrd and son, Rev. Stephen Wayne Byrd. She is survived by son Larry Byrd and wife Nancy of McKinny, Texas; daughter Donna Rambo and husband George of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Daughter-in-law Carol Byrd wife of Rev. Stephen Byrd of Chatham, Virginia. She had 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Portsmouth Church of God of Prophecy. She served in the Ministry with her husband for over 50 years. Visitation, Friday April 24, 2015, 6:00-8:00 pm and Celebration of Life at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Virginia Beach, VA.
