She was the beloved wife of the late Richard H. Connelly and daughter of the late Oreste and Rose (Angolia) Leonardo.
Barbara was a devoted mother to Paul R. Connelly and his wife Sheila, Melissa A. Brown and her husband Wilson, Kelly M. Stromberg and her husband Paul, and Debbie-Jo Silva and her husband Robert. She was predeceased by her son, Kevin J. Connelly. She was a cherished grandmother to Kevin, Ashley, Danielle, Ryan, Christopher, Meagan, Katherine, Eric and Liam; great-grandmother to Wendy, Mikey, Kayden, Hudson and Connor.
Barbara worked as a manager with Tupperware Co. before spending over two decades at 3 Ring Liquor, where she worked until her retirement in 2007. In retirement, she remained deeply engaged in her community through the Coventry Senior Citizens Center, where she shared her talents by teaching crochet and cribbage. Barbara was an avid card and bingo player and enjoyed many other family table games. She was also a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church in Coventry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
