Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Peter J. McNeil Sr. and Annie (Nadzieka) and sister of the late Peter McNeil Jr.
She is survived by her stepchildren Barbara Holcomb (Ronald) and Donna Wallace (William), daughter in law Cynthia Barclay, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her stepson Paul Barclay.
Carolyn was a supervisor for Verizon for many years until her retirement and was a long time communicant of St. Bernard Church.
She loved traveling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Rd, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
