

Christopher died suddenly at home with his loving fiancé Melanie DiStefano and their dog Clyde by his side.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ralph DiStefano and Jill Berthiume.
He was the loving father of Christoper J. “Bubba” Distefano and cherished brother of Craig DiStefano and two nephews, Austin and Devin. He also leaves behind his aunt and uncle Donna and Jerald Dellafave as well as his uncle Joseph Berthiume and many loving cousins and close friends.
Christopher worked for many years installing carpets and floors for Branch Flooring.
He had several hobbies that he enjoyed with his fiancé Melanie. He especially liked collecting antiques including rare glass, Snoopy and Nascar items. He loved watching his favorite racer, Dale Earnhart and was in attendance on February 18, 2001 at Daytona International Speedway when the crash that caused Earnhart’s death. He was an avid Red Skins and Patriots fan.
Chris was very competitive at arm wrestling, had won many contests. He loved walks on the beach with Melanie and their dog as the glow of lighthouses intrigued him. He proposed to Melanie at a local beach. Christopher and Melanie had plans to marry on a beach this summer. Chris had a great sense of humor and loved watching comedies. Among his favorite shows were The Three Stooges, Sanford & Son and All in the Family. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
A celebration of life for Christopher will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Russell J Boyle and Son Funeral Homes, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick, RI 02886.
