David Peligian

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter Sarkis and Rose (Aykanian) Peligian. David built a long and successful career in insurance sales and served as President of the Rhode Island office of N.I.F. Services, Inc. in Warwick.

He is survived by his children, David C. Peligian of Johnston and Catherine R. Peligian of Providence; and by his stepchildren, Jocelyn A. Bissonnette and her husband Brian Thorn of East Greenwich, Lindsy M. Bissonnette and her husband Nick Ferla of New York, NY, and Kara L. Bissonnette of New York, NY. He was the proud grandfather of Ines and Esme. David also leaves his brother, Peter S. Peligian and his wife Sherry of Palm Coast, FL, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Eva Peligian.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with a processional to the Historic Swan Point Cemetery in Providence for his final place of rest. The church is handicapped accessible. Parking is available in the rear of the church.
