

Born in Cranston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert G. and Pearl B. (Cilley) Ernst. For the past 25 years, she made her home in North Kingstown, where she enjoyed a quiet life surrounded by family and the simple joys that brought her peace.
Dolores was a devoted mother to Stephen Mason, Daphne Sherman, Kimberly Romjue, and Scott Smith. She was a cherished sister to the late Albert Ernst Jr., and a loving aunt to Deborah Sroka, Terry Valdepena, Albert Ernst III, and Michael Ernst.
Strong-willed and kind, Dolores was known for her resilience and unwavering love for those around her. Her big, sincere smile had a warmth that could brighten any room and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
A lifelong animal lover, she shared a special bond with her cherished cats, whose companionship brought her joy and comfort throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held privately.
