

Born in Pawtucket, where she spent most of her life, Dottie was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Tarpey) Rigley.
Dottie was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Lori B. Ricci and her husband, Thomas. She was cherished by her grandsons Matthew and Thomas, who brought her tremendous pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen O’Connor (her husband John). She is predeceased by her brother, Jack (wife Sue Rigley-Skurka).
Dottie, known for her warm and loving hospitality, loved her family and friends, spending as much time as she could with them. She enjoyed bringing her loved ones together, whether it was a holiday, sporting event, pool party or on the golf course. She was always ready to be a part of the festivities.
Dottie loved to travel and was an enthusiastic sports fan. She had a particular love of golf, whether playing or watching. (She was often heard enthusiastically and loudly shouting at the TV after a good or bad play)! A former member of Pawtucket Country Club, she spent many days golfing and socializing there. Dottie enjoyed playing in women’s golf leagues throughout Rhode Island and Sarasota, FL. She made many lifelong friends on and off on the course.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 am, in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family beginning at 10:00 am, prior to the service.

Dottie’s kindness, enthusiasm for life and deep love for her family and friends will be always be remembered. She will be missed by all who knew her.
