          Sorry for the loss of your Mother.

To Frannie’s family….my heart is broken that I have lost you my dear Frannie. After meeting in approx 1990 did we have so much fun. All the Thanksgivings, Christmases & St. Paddy’s day parties. Oh how you loved to cook & bake & have a house full of folks over. Our card parties we had you were always the best player of the group. You lost Joe & then I lost Paul what characters they were. We always had the bests of times. Once Covid came along we devised a new plan of me just coming over w/ dinner & we just talked & talked more….basically between the two of us we never shut up. Now what am I going to do you were my ride or die when it came to politics….we moaned & groaned about the state of affairs….cussed up a storm.  Loved all your kids as I met them one by one. Oh my gosh Timmy was the best ever making jokes & just cracking us up all the time. Of course Jack & Janet, Kristen & Erika they were here locally. Watched the girls grow up. Steven I think I only met a couple of times. Then lastly I met your girls Michele & Chrissy. I was so sad when you moved back to R.I with Chrissy but deep down I knew it was for the best. She took the best care of you.  I will always hold you in my heart & will truly miss you. It’s not good-bye forever you get things ready up there & we will see each other again one day. When I get there please fix me one of your wonderful meals & I will bring the wine.  Love you always Frannie!!!!

Franny, my favorite part of growing up was helping you in the kitchen. You are the best chef and baker and I don’t think anyone can compete. You’re the smartest woman I know and I hope that I can continue to make you proud. Even though I won’t be able to call you and tell you about the things I accomplish, I know you’ll be right here with me.  Thank you for introducing me to all of my favorite things. Thank you for calling me every time the wizard of oz was on tv. Thank you for making me a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for my birthday every year. Thank you for walking me to the bus stop with cujo and picking me up. Thank you for coming to my school events when my parents couldn’t make it. I’m sorry for being so picky growing up but I promise I try new things now. Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings, my dancing queen and we will meet again somewhere over the rainbow. I love you.

We don’t really like the cold around here . Franny is no exeption.

This image fills my heart and brakes me at the same time . Thankyou Grandma Franny for touching my life and so many others . A gal with so much personality , witty and beautiful till the very end . It’s hard to say end. I’ll just say till we meet again . For now you’ll be forever in the hearts of everyone who’s lives you’ve touched.

Franny certainly does , two glasses of Blood Mary per outing was always a must.

I’ve never seen anyone eat a rare burger like Franny.  We would to go to certain restaurants to be able to get  it “still mooing”

Every sleep over was a night I would have books read to me .. all the books from Junie B. Jones to be exact . A wall filled with VCR’s and DVD’s , because that was my personal movie rental . Where I would sign all chart  with the movies I would take and bring back. Each time I visited new ones were added, courtesy of you and papa Joe .  The countless card games specifically (Skip Bo) where there was no mercy and each win was well deserved . I’ll hold each memory close to my heart.

You would get me an apron for every occasion.. and every week was a search for a new recipe. But our classics were black bottom cupcakes, blueberry pies, dump cakes, pork pies which is now my comfort food and spaghetti and meatballs of course . I will think of you in every one of these dishes for the rest of my life . Kristen has your recipe down almost perfectly.

My dearest Mommy
You were my guiding light, my safe place, and my greatest teacher. Your love was constant, your strength unshakable, and your heart always open. Though you are no longer here beside me, your kindness, wisdom, and laughter will forever live within me. I will carry your memory as a blessing and an anchor for the rest of my days.
