Francis Porter

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John A. and Mary L. ( Meldren ) Porter-Smith.

He is survived by his children, Shirley A. Casey and her late husband Edward of Warwick, Joyce Richardson and her husband William of North Port, FL, his cherished grandchildren, Karen J. Raposa of Coventry, Tricia A. Colon of Warwick, John F. Casey of Exeter, Roxannne Beretta and her husband John of Lincoln, Rhonda Frenze of Greenville. He is also the great grandfather of Austin Raposa, Mason Raposa, Chase Raposa, Audrianna Casey, Zachary Colon, Marissa Colon, Stephanie Fricke and Evan Beretta and 3 great great grandchildren.

Mr. Porter was the grandfather of the late Judith Casey and the brother of the late John Porter, Alfred Porter, Donald Porter and Dorothy Auger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Family and friends may call the morning of the Mass from 9:00-10:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick.
