Helen (Banach) Okolowitcz, 97, passed away September 4, 2023. She was the wife of the late Walter J. Okolowitcz, II.
Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Agnes (Zombeck) Banach. Helen was the beloved mother of Sandra Lovejoy (Robert), Debra Marschall (Fred) and the late Walter J. Okolowitcz, III; loving grandmother of Kurt, Kyle and Katrina Marschall, Eric Lovejoy and Kara Asher; great-grandmother of 8. She was the sister of the late Genevieve Padakula, Stella LaCroix and William Banach.
Helen was a volunteer at the Cranston Senior Center for many years. She also sang in the choir at Holy Apostles Church.
Visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, September 14th from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
