Born in Providence she was the beloved daughter of Arthur and Geraldine A. (Russas) Vannini of Warwick, RI.
Janine had suffered a major stroke that left her unable to continue pursuing her passion as an early childhood development teacher. Janine loved her kiddos and was a passionate advocated for their well-being. As a lead teacher, Janine was skilled in communication, listening, empathy, patience and a lifelong love of learning. Before her time as a teacher, Janine had attended Johnson and Wales Culinary School.
Besides her parents, Janine leaves her beloved children, Anthony J. Vannini of Cranston, Alicia M. Vannini and her fiancé Scott J. Wright of Cranston; her loving partner Kenny Hawkins of West Warwick; her siblings, Michael P. Vannini and his wife Laura of Cranston, Stephen Vannini and his partner Amy of Coventry and Denise M. O’Brien and her husband Paul of North Kingstown. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren, Jordan A. Wild, Austin W. Wright, Eleanor J. Wright as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit from 9:00-9:30 am on Saturday February 11, 2023 in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A family remembrance will begin at 9:30 am followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 am. A processional will proceed for Janine's inurnment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
