Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John J. Sr. and Lillian V. (McAdams) Hudson.
John was the co-owner of Hudson Liquid Asphalts, located at the Port of Providence, for many years before retirement. He was a proud member of the Friends of the Irish Kings and the 100 Club and enjoyed following his New England sports teams.
John leaves his daughter, Karen Desrosiers and her husband Shawn, his granddaughter, Ella Desrosiers, and his brother, Thomas Hudson and his wife Lauren. He was predeceased by his sister, Karen A. Hudson.
Visitation Thursday, 3 – 6 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 am in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippen Orchard Rd. Cranston. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
