Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary L. (Healey) Lewanowicz.
Joyce was a graduate of St. Xavier's and had attended Rhode Island College.
She had worked for Guttin's Bakery in Providence and would go on to work at Gregg's Restaurant for 35 years before retiring in 2020.
Joyce is survived by her sister Jane Gagge of Cranston, RI.
Joyce's committal service in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter will be Wednesday, May 7,2025 at 11:00 AM. If you are planning on attending, we will meet in the administration parking lot located just inside the gates on the right at 10:45 am.
