

Born in Pawtucket, Marc was the son of the late Thomas A. and Gloria J. (Belleavoine) O’Gorman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Vivian and Olivia O’Gorman and siblings Donna Hostetler (Charles), Thomas (Susan), Diane Bardsley (David). His brother James predeceased him. He was close to his Uncle Ted for whom he provided care. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A dedicated professional, Marc worked as a Fios Technician with Verizon for over 30 years being a member of IBEW Local 2323. Marc earned degrees from New England Institute of Technology and CCRI, along with numerous industry certifications that reflected his commitment to excellence in his field.
A lifelong Catholic, Marc was a proud parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church, where his faith was a guiding force throughout his life.
An avid outdoorsman, Marc found joy in skiing, hiking, boating, skidooing, and fishing. He enjoyed sharing his love for the outdoors with his family which included stargazing, seashell hunting and beach going. He enjoyed attending concerts and sporting events, especially cheering on New England teams. Marc was also a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a loving and supportive father to his daughters and nothing brought him more pride than watching them compete in basketball and cross country. Faithfully attending all his daughters’ school events was a priority for him. He also shared a special bond with his cats, Harry, Kramer, Lily and Lila and his Collies, Holly and Willow.
Though his time with us was too short, Marc filled his years with love and unforgettable moments. Marc will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, seeing beauty in nature, his devotion to family, and the warmth he brought to his friends and colleagues, especially with his life-long friend, Jeff San Souci.
Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m., and Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. at Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 3rd St, East Greenwich. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
