She was the beloved wife of Ronald MacIntosh, with whom she shared 44 happy and devoted years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering commitment.
Born in Providence, Mary-Ann was the cherished daughter of the late Francis and Etta (Palumbo) Amitrano. She was a woman whose greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family. Whether gathered around a holiday table, celebrating life's milestones, or enjoying the simple moments together, Mary-Ann treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by those she loved. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her loving children, Sarah MacIntosh, Domenic MacIntosh, Heather MacIntosh, and Keri MacIntosh; her stepchildren, Ronald MacIntosh and Christine Mendonca and her husband, Larry; her nine cherished grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life; and her sisters, Dolores Monroe and Angela Fried.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Etta Amitrano, and her sister, Frances Fisher.
Mary-Ann's love, strength, and dedication to her family created a lasting legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
Her visitation will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
