Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Ruth A. (Artesani) Fay, and sister of the late Robert C. Fay. Maureen was the loving and devoted mother of Sheila M. Feeney and Kimberly A. Feeney, and aunt of Colleen Fay, Barbara Snow, and David Fay. She is also survived by her cousins, Kathy McLean Loiselle and her husband Gil, Gary Fay and John Fay. She was the sister-in-law of Wendy Fay and Helen Fay.
Maureen was a devoted mother who took immense pride in raising and nurturing her daughters. Her deep sense of compassion and kindness naturally guided her toward a fulfilling career in nursing. She found her calling as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working at Greenwood Nursing Home and Tamarisk Assisted Living, where her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication shone through. Maureen’s work was more than a job, it was a reflection of who she was: caring, empathetic, and wholeheartedly committed to the well-being of others. Her presence brought comfort to many, and her quiet strength left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
