

Maureen H. Flynn, 87, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Robert F. Flynn, they were married for 55 years. Maureen was born in Providence, was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Margaret (Kelleher) O’Hara and graduated from St. Xavier’s in Providence.
Maureen had a longtime career with the North Kingstown school department.
Maureen loved reading and staying up to date with current events. She had a passion for her family and friends. Maureen loved spending time with her sisters and family at happy hour every Friday evening at her sister Peggy’s home.
She loved her sisters, Joan McKenna, Peggy Dugan, Kathleen Sohar along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was a loving mother to her two sons, Tim (Angie) Flynn, of Warwick and Jim (Jennifer) Flynn of Stonington, CT.
The apple of her eye were her two cherished grandson’s, Conner and Anthony. She loved hearing about their soccer games, baseball games and listening to them share their stories of travel and school.
A wake will be held at Russell J. Boyle and Sons, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 8:00-10:00 am. Following will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Francis de Sales, 381 School Street, North Kingstown, RI. Private interment at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston, RI.
